Re: Too All From Canada
To go ice fishing is to volountarily exit a perfectly working and heated pick-up truck in sub-zero weather. Then to build a big fire on top of the centre of a frozen lake and gather everyone around so the weight of bodies and equipment is evenly distributed and tightly centred around a fire on top of frozen water.. in the middle of a lake. And if the fire wasn't enough, to then cut out a hole in the middle of the frozen lake, to catch fish that could've been bought at the local supermarket.
Ice fishing is kinda like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane to catch a pigeon when one could have just ordered squab at the local eatery.
I wonder, in the history of the great ice fishing tradition, if anyone has ever fell in?
