red sox beating the crap out of the yankees = interesting question
During today's game in which the yankees lost (17-1), the red sox (who won 17-1) had 27 hits in 52 at bats.
It brings to light an interesting question. How often do teams hit .500 or better over the course of a game? Seems pretty rare. Does anyone keep track of this kind of thing?
