If these were my chips...

I wouldn't accept this willingly. I would ask NJ if this is normal for their ceramic chips. If so, I would ask them to replace them with another line of chips. If they care about customer service, and by replacing the original chips it seems like they do, then they should accomidate you.

Thanks for posting these pics, and please let us know what they say. I was considering buying some ceramics, but if they don't hold up any better than this I may have to reconsider.
