I practically live at the $5-150 table at Casino AZ. I find it rare where the betting limit of $150 actually affects the game compared to a traditional "no-limit" game. There is the occasional crazy hand such as this the other night where:

Player #1 limps $5 with KT
Player #2 calls with AQ of spades
Player #3 calls with QQ
Player #4 (SB) raises to $25 with AK
Player #1 calls
Player #2 calls
Player #3 reraises to $75
EVERYBODY Calls!!!!

So here you have $300 in the pot preflop and the most you can bet is $150.

The flop came K - T - J with two diamonds and everyone went crazy (including the guy with the queens...go figure)

But this example is a rarity and basic, quality no-limit play is all you need to be successful at this game.

I can usually be found there every weekend and 2 or 3 nights during the week. Usually wearing an Addias Boston Marathon sweatshirt.
