I think it's unfortunate that they have not agreed to make an exception to that policy in your case. This would be particularly true if you are a 'good customer' (i.e. lots of rake).

I would continue to try to get some sort of refund and/or cash value from them.

In the event that this is unsuccessful I would also attempt to get a refund/cash value from the other site. You could pitch it to them as a customer service thing, with an opportunity for them to go above and beyond the other site(s).

In any event it would be sweet if you won the series and then used your platform to badmouth party poker at every opportunity in front of the camera and at appearances over hte course of the year hahahaaa

Depending on your resolve you could also inform them you will do what you can to advertise your dissatisfaction on the internet, etc and send copies of posts you make to the real powers that be (someone with the power to make an exception to the policy for you).
