I'll second the voice for Sunday brunch at Salty's on Alki. The view of downtown across the water is spectacular, and the food is even better. If you go, prepare to stuff yourself silly. For dinner, though, I prefer Anthony's Pier 66 (make sure it's Pier 66 and not a Homeport) for a restaurant in the same price range ($20-$30 per entree) and genre. The view isn't quite as good, but I like the food better. If you go there, make sure you order their crab and corn chowder. It's out of this world.

Also, if you're grabbing a quick lunch, Anthony's Pier 66 has a great fish, chips and chowder bar located directy below their main restaurant.

Edit: Lastly, if you want a beer, visit the Elysian microbrew located at 1221 E Pike St. Their porter and their ESB are two of the best beers I've ever tried.
