actually, i think more women would play if they were invited to. i host poker tournaments every other month or so, and i can generally get 4 or 5 women to come (mostly men though) also, if you're friends with a female poker player, chances are they have friends that play to. Once i learned how to play, if you didn't play, you didn't understand what i was talking about.
