I think it's pretty clear that the guy should get the first $40 from him, but the other $80 + side should be split four-ways.
Oh, I didn't read down about the side pot on the flop. The main is split 4 ways. 2/3 of the side goes to him, and 1/5 of the remaining 1/3 goes to the third guy, after you take $35 from the main pot and $5 from the side for the original $40.
Easy peasy.
