the refresh rate is 75...its a 2 year old NEC monitor, and the price was right....FREE!
So this is what Im gonna go with until the LCD's come down in price some more...I will try those other suggestions concerning the brightness/contrast & the lighting.
I saw in a thread on 2+2 about a program somewhere on the 'Net that helps in reducing the eye strain...anyone ever heard of it?
I appreciate all the replies so far.
