Re: Help with Prelfop Strategy

If I'm hit with a small pocket, 2-9's, (Hands I hate) I generally just limp.
If I'm raised from a middle-late position, and its not too much, I’ll just make the call, and look to hit my set. In the event I do, I almost always lead into the raiser.
If faced with an all in early in the tournament, I usually fold, not looking to race until I make the money, or its a small stack's desperate move.

Absolute wrong way to deal with pocket pairs. With pocket pairs you need to isolate the field down to you and one other player, otherwise you will be beat. Pocket Pairs, if played properly with a large raise, will go down to a coin flip against an overpair. A large bet can also give you information on what the other player is holding. If it's you and one other and the board comes up, say, 6 4 9 rainbow you can be pretty sure that you have the best hand at that point.
Raise big with pocket pair and chase folks off.
