The check raise wasn't intentional. Yes, I had two pair, but they were weak. When it came back to me as a HU situation, I put him on either a pair of Jacks with a good kicker or the flush draw. That's when I decided to raise, but if there would have been 4 of us left for the turn, I would have just called the 1 bet on the flop. The way the turn went, I felt better about my two pair and was ready to cap here if it came to it.
Also, I don't usually check raise on the flop, but I'll definitely keep in mind the pfr situation if it's a play I want to use. Thanks.
