I had a drink at a Caribbean street fair once that literally made me wretch. I think it was called mauby...made of tree bark or something. That's by far the worst drink I've ever tasted, though it's not particularly well known, I suppose.
As far as popular drinks go, I can't stand the aftertaste of diet sodas made with Nutrasweet.
