This is the myth of neutrality. All facts are interpreted facts. If you just look around yourself and conclude that God doesn't exist it's because you believe all sorts of irrational, unprovable concepts, such as something can come from nothing without cause or design.
Using the idea of "straight thinking" begs the question. What is straight thinking? If it's simple and obvious, why do so many straight thinkers disagree? (Cf. the history of philosophy).
