I was playing in a live tourney once against horrible opponents, and I get dealt j8 in the BB. Flop comes 9-t-q. And through the course of the hand, im constantly thinking to myself I have the nuts. Anywho it gets to the river and I get myself all-in and the guy just flips over KJ. And I look at it and then just laugh. I had been staring at that board for 2 minutes and I hadn't of even though of KJ beating my straight. Then after busting I decided not to rebuy because apparently my brain had shut off for the night and decided to go get some food and sleep instead.

Then my other favorite is I was playing a 2/4 game at a casino against horrible opponents. Im holding J9s, but for some reason I think im holding J8s (In live play I always just look at my cards PF and never look at them again during any situation). Flop comes 9-9-Q. So I call a bet on the flop with my gutshot, and turn puts out a K. I get bet into, and am ready to laydown my gutshot. But as im mucking my cards, I flip up the corners to show the guy next to me what im playing (he was a nice guy and we were kind of taking on the table, and he had folded PF), and as the cards are flying into the muck, I catch a glimpse of my J9 and just stare in shock. By the time it registered in my brain, the cards were already halfway across the table with the dealer scooping them into the muck, so there was nothing I could do about it. It was only a $30-40 pot, but my J9 was clearly dominating and would have won at showdown.

I have a few online but they are mostly from forgetting to switch on a 4-color deck, so they aren't as interesting or stupid.
