Do you want to master the game or make money at the low limits?
I think this is the crux of the issue. If you want to stay at low limits, I'd tackle stud8 and then stud. I don't know if any limit omaha games are available online, but you might look into them as well.
If you want to play higher, I think you have to take Felicia's post to heart. Some of the sources you mention having read have some very advanced concepts in them.
