Default Re: AJo against milesdyson

a a pre-flop 3-bet from a good player (miles), over the top of a raise from another strong player (zero) usually means the 1st player (miles) has a premium pair (TT-AA) or AQs or AK.

when an A turns, if miles doesn't have an A (he has TT-KK) he's drawing to 2 outs (a set) against zero's pair of A's. however miles, whether he has an A or not, doesn't know what zero has and needs to bet out without fear. if zero raises the turned A, its easy for miles to get away from his hand if he doesn't have an A (& of course b/c the pot is small)

if miles does have an A, it's AA, AK, AQ; all hands that beat zero's AJ; and miles 3-bets right back at zero.

if zero called the turn, miles likely fires again on a non-A, non-K river and probably calls those river cards and zero wins 2 bb (vs the 1 when he raised the turn and miles folded) and possible 3 if zero raises a miles river bet and miles calls.
