WINNER! The thread really could be locked now, this says it all. You slowplay when you want people with draws to second best hands in. I very rarely slowplay a flopped set because I feel like a complete sucker when I lose with it. I'm not likely to make a draw and then slowplay it. If I flop the godawful nuts (AK board AAK for instance), I have ALL of the cards and a bet will just make everyone fold.
