OK, so you whole basis of logic in poker is off. You have deeper issues than this one hand.
Why would he move in right off the bat if he outflopped you? Meaning he has 2 pair, a set. Hes most likely checking, or betting to entice (not all in).
However, when he goes all in, it signals he most likely hit a King, or he is on a strong draw (open ended or flush) and is trying to take the pot right there. I think he is actually ahead of you less than 1 times in 10. This was a really bad fold.
