Obviously, like most, I have no actual knowledge of whether they do or not, but that aside, with the monies involved ($1 million for 2nd; $1.5 million for 1st) - how much of a deal could they have made? They each get $1.2 million and play off for the extra hundred grand? With the weighting they had, deal-making gets less and less likely, especially given the potential penalties AND negative press associated with it.
