Count your overcards as 3 outs total, and look to see if you have any backdoor flush or straight draws. Compare to the size of the pot to see if you're getting odds to draw.
Of course theres a lot more to it than that. See SSH Page 221-235. Sometimes you raise with your overcards. Sometimes youll bet them one or more times. Other times you just check and fold.
