Default Re: Major Problems with cardroom staff and management at Caesar\'s Indi

The ONE time I played at Caesar's, IN.

Well before they had a poker-room.
I believe it was 1996-ish or so and I think it had just recently opened.
I was driving back to Ohio from Florida (or maybe vice-versa) and made a stop-over.

I was a recreational blackjack card-counter and I was sitting towards the back of the boat I think (there was a wall near me) and had a dealer who was VERY new.

The guy just couldn't freaking add.
He paid me on SEVERAL occasions when we had pushed or he had the best hand. And he would sometimes try to take my money when we pushed or when I was a winner.

He wasn't trying to cheat. He was just kind of stupid.
I wasn't really trying to distract him but we were having a friendly conversation while I was always making sure I was getting paid on my winners and if he paid me on a loser I didn't stop him.

I wasn't even tipping the gy because I didn't want it to look inappropriate if it was spotted. He wasn't trying to cheat the casino...he was just stupid.

Think what you will of me (if this is an angle-shoot or what) but it wasn't my fault that Caesar's hired a moron.
It was really crowded and I think the floor and survelliance had their hands full.
finally a floor-person strolling by noticed him trying to pay my 16 against his 17 and corrected him and he slowed down (very obviously feeling the pressure of possibly being watched after making a mistake) but he still kept screwing up, although not as much.

Again....I think this was somewhere in the first week or month after they had opened although I don't remember (probably was something that came up in the conversation with the dealer).

It was a fun and profitable night (probably $200-$300 or so I would guess...I didn't exactly pla high-stakes BJ).

The single-worst dealer I have ever encountered also happened to be on my only trip to Caesar's Indiana so that is pretty much my impression of Caesar's dealers.
That guy ROCKED!!
