I think you're fine posting in the CO. If your normal positional stats look something like (11, 9, 7, 5, -15, -5) BB/100 for (button, CO, ..., BB, SB) then you should post in the CO as long as you expect to lose less than 12 BB/100 there. Seems like a reasonable expectation to me.
Of course, if you expect to win less, you might be better off waiting. Someone should please correct me if any of my assumptions seem unreasonable.
