Default Re: Finance a home game\'s new table? Opinions?

I guess that's my second issue then. Because we've gone from dealers' choice to exclusively holdem tournaments, which I'm not so good at. So I'm already looking at this from a "at some point in the future, if they don't change, I can't go back" angle. This may just be icing on the cake.

The idea has been brought up that we have a tournament for the table. I've toyed around with it in my mind so far, but it's odd, because since we don't have games where I am, and I were to decide to stop coming, the table would still have to live over at the host's house. Lots of really odd factors there as well.
