Default Crazy good read by a maniac (low content?)

Playing at .5/1 at interpoker. I have about $70. BB in this hand has me covered. I get 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG. I limp, 2 other limpers, and BB raises to $4. Everyone calls.

Flop is 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. It checks around.

Turn is 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. BB bets $9 into a $15 pot. I think for a while and raise to $35. Everyone else folds. BB types in the chat: "You have both 99s, don't you?" I'm impressed, but I don't type anything. He calls.

River is T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. He types "opps!" and pushes. I call because it's only $30 more, and he turns over (results in white) Jclub 2club

Okay, I can see how a skilled player could read me for 99. Preflop limp/call, checking when I missed my set, and then betting a vulnerable hand hard. I would have bet a set on the flop, would have raised preflop with bigger overpairs, and would have folded the turn with underpairs. Still, though, if you're good enough to make that read, you ought to be good enough to know I won't fold for 3:1 odds when there's no plausible way you have a boat.

I told him "good read" after the hand. I just had to share. I thought it was a little spooky, kind of like having your dog telling you how to do calculus and being right about it.
