I agree with smock that this is an easy fold on the river. I was the villain and had J9, flopped a gutshot, turned it into a double gutter and then caught the Q on the river and got paid off.

In a regular game i would have folded on the flop, but against this opponent, who had a propensity for calling huge bets on the end, I started to ignore the current odds the pot was giving me and focused only on the implied odds he was giving me.

Against this type of opponent, how far can you take this type of play?

I guess what I'm wondering is this. If you know you can double through your opponent if you make your hand, just how much more are you willing to gamble?
