Default Calling on Malmuth and Sklansky

As to your first point:

"You can win only modestly by folding A2off in these situations"

I would like to hear others opinions, preferably someone who I know is not sitting at home right now trying to dress up like their mother by putting on pantyhose and lipstick.
Mason? Sklansky? someone else?

I don't think it is that unreasonable a statement to say that I would choose not to gamble with a maniac after he has raised my big blind (during a kill pot) from $4 to $16 when I hold A 2 off. If Mr. Malmuth, Sklansky, etc suggest to me that I absolutely HAVE to do this in order to be a winning player then I will certainly take that into consideration when evaluating my play. However, as of now, I would not choose to put in that additional $ against a maniac with A 2 offsuit.

2. You are a *bad* player if you are winning modestly.

If a player winning modestly is a bad player, what are the majority of players who lose money at the poker tables? We all can't be heroes and win tons of money. Maybe your the best player on your farm up in Canada but that doesn't mean much to me.

3. The bachelor party ended on Saturday night so you can come by and pick up your mom anytime.
