Default set of 4\'s UTG

No reads on players at the table. This may be low content, but I'm wondering if there was any other way to play it.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.5 BB (9 handed) converter

MP2 ($50)
MP3 ($9.25)
CO ($69.1)
Button ($53.5)
SB ($25.95)
BB ($50.65)
Hero ($47.5)
UTG+1 ($78.35)
MP1 ($39.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $0.5.
Hero calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, Hero calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1, MP1 calls $0.50.

Flop: ($7.25) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises to $7.75 (All-In)</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $46 (All-In)</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds.

Turn: ($64) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

River: ($64) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 2 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $64

Should I have folded this preflop?
Should I have cold-called the flop, and push a non-spade turn?
Bet out the flop?

Discuss.
