hand 1: Fold to the raise on the flop, unless you think doing so will adversely effect your table image for down the road. In that case I call then fold the turn unimproved. I probably still ditch the hand on the turn even with that diamond draw.

hand 2: Folding this hand preflop is absurd. Easy raise here. Though I think you went too far with it when you ran into that aggression. I'd probably be looking to ditch it on the turn. Read-dependent. I don't hate calling down, though, especially with that 3rd guy who's probably padding the pot.
