I guess that I am not one of the tight passive players, so I will disagree with some of the replies to your question. My loose aggressive style results in more swings but also puts me in more +EV situations with good flops. The key is letting go of hands where the flop misses me. Hands like #12 are clearly raises for me. Once there is a raise. Win some, loose some.
Another part of my game is knowing the players. Many raises in O/8 are by maniacs where I will have the better of it with some of the hands that others recommend a fold - see hand 5 where the button might be trying to isolate the EP limper - he might even have a hand like #7 which would play very well heads up.
Lastly, I also like hands like 8, 9 and 10 because of their scoop possibilities. Scooping is what makes O/8 a profitable game. Players who only play lows will not do as well in the long run as players who are willing to play high hands - IMHO.
