very on topic question..... $700-$800 a month will get you a VERY decent & nice 1 bedroom apartment with in-unit washer/dryer, gas/water included, a covered car spot/garage & gated community...

btw, i got Cox Digital/HDTV/Internet clocked at around $100/month for the works
& electricty bill in the deseret would run around $100/month
to hell with the local phone.. i got my basic living expenses down to $1000 monthly, aint half bad
