I don’t play BJ or work in casinos anymore, so ... time to release another one of my goodies.

In my years as a BJ dealer and Pit Boss I saw hundreds of people using strategy cards, some with the cards sold in the gift shops and some homemade. I only saw a few people who actually made the play on the card every time. I used to call them on it in a joking / entertaining way – “You should have saved the money you spent on the card to make another bet” sort of thing.

In my years as a card counter I used to print up (hand print, in pre-computer days) the proper strategy for the game I was playing and put little tiny barely noticeable tick marks / dots around the inside of the boxes on the chart using a clock-like code to indicate the strategy variation index numbers.
