Not if you are going to get stacked when they hit their two-pair, and you hit your A or K. Villain invested an extra dollar for a return of roughly $30. If the villain misses the flop, he's out of the hand. Granted 94o is a little ridiculous... but yeah I agree with previous posters. Make it $3 or $4. I think another issue is, you don't mind one or two players going against you with trash, but with that minraise, you could have had 5 or 6 opponents... was it a really tight table??

Regarding minraises preflop... I usually think of them as protection mechanisms for non-made hands. They build the pot with a favorable drawing hand, but allow you to get away from big bets on the flop, because you have so little invested already.
