Looking at it now I see many advantages over playing Full ring to 6-max. Basically I'm asking for opinions/facts on the advantages and disadvantages of each game.

Learning to play shorthanded has totally improved my post-flop play. At full-ring now I find that I have a lot better control over my opponents and I am picking off a lot more bluffs and executing more successful bluffs too.
