Default Re: Buy ins. .50/1.00

[ QUOTE ]
What should I be buying in with. I play .50/1.00. I am pretty new to online poker. I have played live for a few years and always bought in with 25xbig bet. Should this be adjusted for online. I figure I'm dealt about 30% more hands per hour. Should I be buying in with 50 big bets?

What do you guys do?

Mayeb you know this already, but it hasn't been said explicitly in the thread so I'll do it. The reason you need at least 12BB in your stack at the beginning of every hand is in case you need to cap on every street. Perhaps you have KK vs. AA and the flop is AKK. Wouldn't you be sad that you couldn't take more of AA's money? This happened to me at the b/m last night. I caught running 2s to make a full house out of my set and the second one completed a flush draw. Mr. flush had to go all in, but he was eager to put more bets in and would probably have 3-bet me if he'd had the funds. Sure he was probably happy when I turned over the boat, but at the time he really wanted more action.
