The daily Taj tournament is a bit of a crapshoot yes, but they are fun and inexpensive. Ante kicks in at level 3 whichi is kinda nuts. the structure can be found at

6/12 at Borgata and 4/8 at Trop are probably the fishyest games you'll find at the mid-low limits (not 2/4 or 3/6).
If you choose the 6/12 at Borgata, get there early.
