Only problem is when you run into a situation like
this. If stoxtrader had QQ in this hand, he would have been ahead of turnipmonster but lost the pot. I agree with you that, of course, I normally lead at the pot after I have raised. But against tricky opponents, you will get called and won't know where you are. Maybe they have a lower pocket pair and thought you missed the flop? Maybe they have an overpair? Maybe they have nothing? I readily agree that playing the flop after I raise is one of my many weaknesses that I am trying to work on so your thoughts here are greatly appreciated.
