I just opened an account for my wife on Party Poker two days ago. She already had one on Empire and I have my own on Party. I was able to successfully sign her up. I also used the same email address and Neteller account that we used to sign her up on Empire. We did have to call in to verify it was ok for her to use my Neteller account, but otherwise they never even asked if we had other accounts.
I did this from the same PC I've played on all along *without* uninstalling any software. However I did get the message about detecting that I already have an account blah blah blah, the first few times, but I just kept switching email address info and after the 3rd or 4th try it worked for me. Maybe that had something to do with it, I'm not sure. But it's certainly an easy thing to try.
