Default Re: Seattle card rooms with NL tournaments

There are tons of little cardrooms in the area and the pretty much all have weekly tournaments. I don't have a list either and these things tend to change, so if you're serious about investigating all the options, I would call a few rooms a week and see what they have going on and see which ones you like. I don't play tournaments, but the tournament-players that I know all really like the Tuesday night touranments at Muckleshoot. If you're not familiar with Muckleshoot, you should definitley head down there at some point and check it out. It's one of the two Indian casinos in the area with large cardrooms. The Tues. tournament is $100 buyin with one rebuy. Word of warning is that you want to get there somewhat early because it sells out. They have tournaments other nights too. If you are looking for smaller, their Thurs. tournament is something like $45 entry with unlimited $20 rebuys. Most people I know hate that tournament, especially because everyone rebuys a trillion times, but you might want to check it out. Give the cardroom a call for details.

Tulalip is the other big Indian casino. It is physically a nicer casino than Muck, but the staff in the cardroom is much worse. They have the only no limit ring games in the area, so if that's of interest to you, you'd like it there. They also have weekly tournaments, but I don't know details.

Other than that, Diamond Lil's in Renton (much closer to Seattle than either of the Indian casinos) has a weekly tournament that people seem to like. Saturday morning I think. Or is the Omaha tournament on Saturday and the holdem on Sunday? I forget. But I would call them too.

I would call those three rooms for details and try their tournaments first since they are the more major ones. After that, go scout out the little cardrooms, a lot of which have smaller (about $20) weekly tournaments. Good luck.
