I am pretty sure that was an intentional gaffe by the character- anyone dumb enough to listen to Damone about dating likely didn't know the difference (or figured an LZ album would work).
Kashmir always makes me smile when I hear it explicitly because of this- Ocean's 12 has a good Kashmir moment too.
