People keep talking about this rule, but I cannot understand it. It makes sense to me if his all in raise is not a large enough sum to matter, but a raise this large makes it rediculous, and makes me HAVE to base my raises off of 1/2 of his stack. This way, if he pushes I can re-raise all in to isolate with only him, if I need to. If I bet $T1 more than 1/2 of his stack, as I understand the rule, I would not be able to re-open the betting. I seem to remember this rule NOT being applied this way at a WPT event, but cannot recall the details. I still disagree strongly with the rule.
