Default Re: Tunica casino area

Ken-

I like to stay at the Goldstrike or Horseshoe, because they are so close together, (if you go out the Goldstrike's side door, walk down a covered walkway and across a service road you are at the Horseshoe,~50 yards if that)and have great cardrooms. I believe there are shuttles that run between the casinos during certain hours of the day, so it is easy to get to other places no matter where you stay.

As far as I know there are no free shuttles to the casinos from the airport. I usually book a ride through Unique Travel (you can find the phone number on the Memphis Airport website) on one of their shuttles. I can't remember the rates, but it was cheaper than a cab which I remember is expensive.

Also if you stay at the Goldstrike or Horseshoe and plan to play poker make your reservation through the cardroom...they offer great rates for poker players.

Hope this helps!
