Hey stellar, this isn't exactly true because at the time of raising, it gains you 1 SB when against AK. it is only after you get outdrawn that you actually lose.
also i agree with you that the call down line is a very good line against most reasonable players who cap preflop and 3-bet this flop because you are up against either AA, KK, or JJ here (QQ won't doesn't matter.). I'm not the math whiz, but 2 out of 3 equally likely holdings beat you, not to mention the fact that given his stregnth AA and KK become more likely anyways.
