The raise was meant to try and isolate against the Maniac. It has been pretty standard at this table to try and isolate him.
I was not very happy to see that many people come along for such a big raise.
if it has just be me against him I wouldn't have been as worried about my position. He had been up to $150 - and all the way down to $10, playing most every flop.
