Iraq did not have WMDs
Iraq did not have WMDs. Not when the US invaded, and not for a long time before that. (You don't flush WMDs down the toilet as if it's a police raid.)
The UN sanctions were working.
The intelligence was there.
The leadership knew.
But the decision to go in was taken before even 9/11 happened and had nothing to do with WMDs, Qaeda or Saddm's moustache.
I don't understand how a majority of Bush supporters think otherwise on these issues when all they have to do is read a paper or listen to the news more carefully. I guess between a Bush supporter and a Bush opponent, I would rather have the former to sit at my table and ask for chips.
