I never played the 1/2, I will say this. in my limited experience in 5/10, you can run bad and lose a dime no problem. so if losing a dime is a really big deal, don't take a shot until it isn't. if I were you I would play 2/4 and 3/6 full games until I had 300BB for the 5/10, and then start taking shots at it.
