Default Re: My thoughts

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, SB calls, <font color="666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 3-bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero caps</font>, SB calls, MP1 calls.

MP1 has "checkraised" me before the flop. Most likely he has AA or QQ. I discount KK for obvious reasons. Since only one hav beats me, it's an easy cap.

Flop: (13 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">SB raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 3-bets</font>, Hero folds, SB calls.

Well, at least I will know where I stand. It's checked to me and then check raised and check-REraised. So there are two players both coming back after I've shown strength. One has to have a set or at least AA.

Turn: (10 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">SB raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 bets $8.25 (All-In)</font>, SB calls.

Turn would have given me a straight draw. But it doesn't matter. I feel better about my decision.
River: (14.12 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: 14.12 BB

Results in white below: <font color="white">
SB has Jc Ac (one pair, jacks).
MP1 has Qc Qd (three of a kind, queens).
Outcome: MP1 wins 14.12 BB. </font>

I'm pleased with my read about MP1, but confused my SB. And unfortunately, he left soon after this hand.
