Re: Absolute vs. Party, $1/$2 6max

Most Absolute players look at their cards preflop.
Many Party players only start looking at their cards on the Turn.

Re: My favorite hand, folded on turn

You are getting 10.75:1 on the turn.
According to your read, TAG has either
JT (6) hero have 2 outs
33 (3) "" 4 outs
hero has combined (24/9) ~2.7 outs, making the fold correct.

However, if...

Re: Another possibility

Thanks for the comments.

I will call this down unless I know for SURE Villain is capable of CAPPING PF with AQ or AQs, then I have THIN pot equity to force UTG to let go his K or 9.

Re: Another possibility

I am a newbie, here are some of my first attempt to do the math, please let me know if these make sense or not.
On the Turn, know cards: T(3), J(1), Q(1), 2(1)
Villain possible Hands that you are...

Re: Weak or standard

Thank you for the comment, I agree raising is very risky. Calling is the standard play.

Re: 33 Fails to Flop A Set

Is it OK to bet the flop instead? Since the table is passive?

Re: Weak or standard

OK, Here is my thinking, please hit me with a stick:

1.) Button Cold Called PF. (AK is not that likely, K8s & K5s maybe)
2.) Flop is two tone with an A. (Ax X>8 will show up, 55, 88 maybe here or...

Re: Weak or standard

I have seen some of this lately. I will 3-bet to gamble against if he has cold-called PF with K8s or K5s, any sets 8,5,2 would've shown up in flop or turn already. And most of all, He will call 3-bet...

Re: Haven\'t had one of these in a while - a preflop quiz

1.) Loose table Call, Tight Table fold, SuperTight Table Raise.
2.) Call
3.) Raise
4.) Raise
5.) Call
6.) Call
7.) Call(50%) Raise(50%)
8.) Call
9.) Raise is Blinds are tight, call if blinds...

Re: Why I stopped 4-tabling constantly

When multi-tabling, I tighten up a lot PF and will let go some marginal situation post-flop if short-handed. I just keep waiting for the very profitable multi-way actions. When it's close decision...

Re: BB special - aggro the turn and river or just check/call?

Flop: fine, bet to build pot with no PFR.
Turn: Bet/call. You just lost some of your K outs. Picked you A & 9 outs, but not enough to 3-bet HU.
River: 3-bet and call the cap. AK will be raised PF...

Any read on MP3? I think he has Aces up.

Re: QQ hand meets a paired flop

Fold the turn, pot is not that big if you have read on him.

Re: KK against a LAG on an ugly board

He has 83% - (top) 38% hands. for 38% PFR, he is raising almost any Ace. Discount his chance of an A.
Cap PF, probably for fun, so SB cannot cap it.
I am more weaktight, so I won't go crazy on the...

Re: Overpair on paired board

If he has a 7, he is check/raising you on the turn at a high % of time in party 1/2 game.
Why would he want to push out overcards (most PFR) if he already has trip with NO flush draw or straigt...
