Re: 30/60 I hate being pasive with AK..

3 bet flop or call and c/r on turn and bet the river if she calls. or you can just dump the hand.

Re: Misplayed

raise flop, agression wins pots. on the bad turn i'd give it up there.

Re: i hate not having reads....

calling the min raise from the small blind isn't that bad in my opinion. however, after bb raised, you can try to figure out where you're at in the hand and reraise to try to pick it up or go heads...

Re: Making my set on the turn

3 bet turn and push river. shouldn't be scared of QQ since they would raise in position. A3 suited is possible, but i don't understand pokertracker stats. i think you're good, try to get it all in.

Re: Crazy Hand on Party Poker

Preflop and flop plays are fine in my opinion. You got the most money possible, however, pushing the flop can also be an option because you can either pick up the pot, in this case, no. however, you...

Fold preflop. Post flop play is fine, nothing you can really do.

Re: KK against a LAG 5/5/10

In my opinion, which probably doesn't mean much, but I would put villian on either 2 pair or the already made straight, and perhaps the draw depending on the kind of player he is. The flop seems very...

Re: I\'m an Idiot

Preflop call is questionable, but if you had played, flop call was fine. I like a check or your raise here, however, if villian pushes his hands too far, I would be more inclined to call thinking he...

AK with a coordinated board

Hero-$200
Villian-$400

Live game. No reads, just sat down. Villian was complaining about being on a bad run and having bad luck. Hero dealt AKo 3rd to act. UTG raises to 25, I call along with two...

Re: An observed AA hand...

I hate the check call on the river. I think the decision had to be made on the turn, whether he lets it go or comes over the top with a big raise.

Re: tricky good or tricky bad

The reraise preflop is questionable to me because you're out of position with a raiser behind. The Flop check was fine, I actually kind of like that, but I think you bet the turn too much, you're...

Re: 50-100 shorthanded AA hand.

I like thatwacokid's line. His style of play will basically allow you to stack him off by the river. If you raise, is he aggro enough to push with spades? He knows his table image he gives off, he...

Re: 44 unimproved HU

If you go into the hand with that line and intention to gamble that much money whether you hit your set or not, why not raise more preflop? Flop play is fine if you sense weakness. After he calls the...

Re: How deep, before you fold AA, if ever? Am I just a pussy? Probably.

The only time you should ever considering folding AA preflop is in a tourney. Or maybe 4 players pushing all in and you left to act with AA in a live game? May I remind you that you were given the...

Re: Combinations

So basically, out of four jacks, you can choose any of the four for the first card. For the second whole card, you are left with three, so that is 4x3, i got that, and you just divide by 2 always?...

Combinations

Sorry if this seems like such a basic question, but how would you find the possible number of combinations a holding can be dealt? For example, if you believe a player has JJ, there are 6 ways that...

Monotone board w/ trips

Say 3 players in the pot with about equal stacks. You flop trips on a monotone board in middle position, what is your best play? Sorry for the newbie question, but I play this situation different all...

Re: Dumb?

Yeah, I agree. However, I was only pushing due to my INCREDIBLY tight image due to a cold run of cards. I felt I may have been ahead with a pair on the flop, and the open ended straight draw and even...

Re: Dumb?

No, I would not make the same play with 44 [non diamond] and I would not make the play with just the lone 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Dumb?

Playing 5/10 live game. I'm dealt 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in BB. LAG player makes a standard raise to 20 UTG. Button calls, once again, another loose player. I...

Re: Overplayed Aces?

There aren't many hands villian would call your all in with besides a set. This is because you gave away your hand after you check raised all in. However, it may be possible villian will pay you off...

Re: interesting hand

[ QUOTE ]

You hold onto a Q or J high flush when someone goes all in for an additional $1,500 when your opponent knows you have a flush? There's $1,050 in the pot.

Re: limping AK hand

I like the preflop call opposed to pushing considering you have two other players to shake off and raiser is a tight, straight forward player. Good bet on the flop, curious why he didn't raise so I...

Re: interesting hand

You definitely won't be able to get EP to muck Q or J high flush, by moving in, especially if he's steaming. Considering the diamonds are low, he could possibly hold the higher flush. It's a call you...
