I kind of see how it was a good call for him but he wasn't even the low stack at the time and obviously if I came out on the winning side of it I would have been more than happy to shake his hand on...

Thanks for the replies guys. It was just one of those days for me. Didn't make a single bad call the whole tourney...came out on the wrong end of 3 hands all of which I was at least 2:1 favorite...

90+ person tourney down to last 10 players (pays 9 places) combining to final table after this hand. I'm probably 7th in chips maybe 3 outta the 5 left at my table. blinds 3k and 1.5k for small. ...
