Re: Has WSOP gotten too big?
WSOP is just a tournament which was able to grab the title "World Champion" at a time when no one cared.
It is the biggest and most prestigious event to win, if you have to win a tournment. Much...

Re: Stars $5R - QQ after rebuy period
I'd agree with everyone - this is an easy push. I'd say the BB has a nut flush draw. If it's AA or KK, then you just ran into it and have to pray for a suckout. I would assume AA or KK would have...

Re: Live Main Event Super Satellites
I have a friend who's theory on Supers is very debateable but it works for him. At the WSOP there are Supers that are $200 + $30 with unlimited rebuys until the break at 90 min. The rounds are...

Re: Las Vegas weeklong tournament trip
The Sahara has a $43 buyin w/ one $20 rebuy every night @ 7pm (I think) and 11pm. Sunday night is kind of a tradition and they get 100 +. Call the poker room in the afternoon and make a reservation...

Re: Question on WSOP schedule

Re: Negreanu\'s latest blog update...
If I were Bob Hume, Harry Cullen Jr., Corey Bierra, Jonathan Schecter, Don Mullis, or any of the several others, I would pull out of the $2M freeroll in protest.
Plus, the never of Harrah's not...

Re: What Tiffany Willaimson did right
What did Tiffany do right?
She won a 10 pound tournament in London which got her to the Rio where she won a satellite to get in and beat 99.7% of the field.
So she's not a skilled player and...

Re: WSOP has become a joke.
[ QUOTE ]
That being said, in a field of 5,000+ there's no way to win without a lot of luck, no matter how good you are. Even if you could see your opponent's cards, and only went all-in when you...

Hellmuth was great
As much as I think Hellmuth is a doofus, he was fantastic on the radio. The only thing that could be better is Hellmuth/Matusow on the air. Maybe next year.

This Year vs Last Year
Last Year, Raymer had this won by 9pm.
I wouldn't be surprised if it keeps on going like this that ESPN will restart tomorrow which is their option to do so.

Re: Matusow - TICK TOCK
Negraneau and Hellmuth are talking Matusow down like he's about to blow.
Apparently Mike had bottom pair on that last hand.
Hellmuth tries to tell Mike the "Varkoni" story.
Mike says he has...
